Gulf South and Texas Gas are regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). As of February 7, 2025, Gulf South and Texas Gas submitted a pre-filing request with the FERC to initiate the review process for the Kosci Junction Project. This step marks the beginning of FERC’s pre-filing process, which is designed to facilitate early engagement with stakeholders and the public prior to the submission of a formal application, currently anticipated around September 2025.
The FERC pre-filing docket number for the Kosci Junction Project is PF25-6-000.
You may access copies of pre-filing documents and FERC issuances related to the Project by visiting the FERC eLibrary and searching using the docket number listed above.
FERC will continue to notify applicable stakeholders, solicit feedback, and allow for public comment throughout both the pre-filing and formal application review processes. For detailed information about the FERC application process and how to get involved, visit our Environmental Compliance and Public Participation pages.
Once the formal application is submitted, we will post the FERC docket number for the application here, along with information about library locations where copies of the application will be available and links to newspaper articles covering the Project.
